Americo Rosario 

Born July 24th, 1946 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to Americo Rosario Rosario and Juanita Torres Herpen. Raised in Puerto Rico along with his siblings, Milagros, Edwin, Wanda, the late Lilliam and William. Later Americo would call The Bronx, New York home. 

Anyone who knew Americo knew he was a loving, kind soul. With so much charisma and a passion for life, he loved to joke around and laugh. Americo was the life of the party. He will always be remembered as a salsero, capturing the hearts of everyone he met. To know him was to love him. 

Americo will be met with open arms by His father Americo Rosario, the love of his life Angelica Burgos, and his daughter Maria DeJesus. 

Survived by his children, Americo, Elizabeth, Jessica, Carmen, and Yvonne. His grandchildren, Manuel, Reginald, Natalie, Daniel, Angelica, Nicole, Americo R, Montague, Anthony, Christine, Michael, Kenneth, Erica, and Enrique. Numerous Great Grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews. 

Although Americo has gone to be with the lord, we will always carry him in our hearts. Rest in Peace Salsa King. We will always love you.
