Armondo Mendoza

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Armando “Mando” Mendoza.  Mando was to born to Guillermina Mendoza on January 14, 1953, in the Bronx, NY.  He had 6 siblings, predeceased by Hector, Zulma, Mercedes, Antonio (Tony); and is survived by Gustavo and Edwin (Jerry).  Armando loved his family above all else.  His wife Rosie was the beat of his heart, they married on November 16, 1974, and raised their two daughters Jennifer and Jessica with love, kindness, and joy.  After 30+ years of a stellar career at Montefiore Hospital Mando retired and focused his energies on things he loved.  He enjoyed painting, music, dancing, and spending time with his family.  His daughters blessed him with 5 beautiful grandchildren, Andrew, Genesis, Solae, Kaelyn and Jasper.  He became a Great Grandfather when Khai was born.

Armando loved to see his family laughing, chilling and “bugging-out” together in harmony.  If love could have kept him here, he would have lived forever.  Rest easy our beloved, until we meet again.
