Carlos "Carlito" Ramos
On February 21, 1942 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Carlos Felix Ramos was the eldest born to his parents, Marcos and Maria Ramos. He was raised in Brooklyn, NY, along with his brothers Marcos Jr (Poti) and Raymond (Tito) and sisters Rosa and Sarah.
Most people know Carlito for being the life of the party with the biggest heart! No matter who you were, he went over and beyond to lend a hand. Of course, he loved his family and friends, but Salsa music was his biggest passion. So much, he became a stagehand for Joe Cuba, the salsa sensation. This afforded him the opportunity to meet people from all different walks of life and travel the world. He captured the hearts of everyone he met.
To know him was to love him.
Survived by his sons Carlos Jr. and Jose, daughters Michelle, Barbara, Vanesa and Erica. His five grandchildren Rey, Jovan, Alex, AJ (Samantha) and Chrystle. As well as six great grandchildren, Amaya, Alanna, Christopher, Charlotte, Benjamin and Camryn.
Although Carlos is no longer with us and has gone on to be with the Lord, we will always carry him in our hearts.
Our Salsa king is dancing on the streets of gold! We love you.
