Davon Stewart Obituary

 Da’von Stewart affectionately known as “Q” passed away peacefully on May 30, 2024 in his childhood home amongst his loved ones at the young age of 38. Born on October 15, 1985, in New York, he was the cherished son of Rosalind Kasey and Maxwell Stewart and the loving brother of Atiya Stewart, Michael Stewart, Lamar Stewart and Shaheim Battiste.

 

Growing up on the Eastside of Harlem, he is known for his kind heart and infectious laugh. Da’von’s smile was a beacon of light to all he had met. He attended elementary school at P.S.50, where he developed many of his lifelong friendships. For high school he attended Norman Thomas. He was highly active and passionate about sports in his childhood. From playing baseball to playing football. He really enjoyed watching sports and his favorite team is the Dallas Mavericks.

 

In 2007, Da’von met the love of his life Anastasia in Allentown, PA and from then on, the two were inseparable. In 2009 they welcomed their first-born son Da’vir Stewart, into the world. Then in June of 2016, Da’von’s heart led him to the altar, where he married Anastasia Stewart. He was a devoted husband and father. A hard working men would’ve been an understatement. While working a full time job  In 2021 the Stewart’s launched their 1st business Anassheshack. Later in that year they were able to launch their second endeavor “The Luxury Experience Boutique.” In 2022, Da'von and Anastasia welcomed their 2nd son, Da’var Stewart. Together they embarked on a journey of love, partnership and family. 

 

His bond and protective nature with his family is unwavering. His endless love for his in-laws and countless friends showed proof of his strong commitment to who he considered his family. Some of his fondest moments were at his grandmother’s house, where he spent most of his time as a child and early adulthood. 

 

Da'von’s love of life did not come to end with his death, his legacy is carried on by his sons Da’vir and Da’var.

 

 He is survived by his Wife Anastasia two sons as well as, his maternal grandmother Mary Hayden who he adored and respected, both his parents Rosalind and Maxwell, his brothers and sister Shaheim Battiste, Michael Stewart, Lamar Stewart, Atiya Stewart, along with 6 nephews 2 nieces, aunts, uncles, a host of cousins and friends.  Surrounded by his loving family and friends in his final moment, he was a man of immense strength and resilience who will be deeply missed.
