Obituary
Felix Deaury Thillet was a man that went by many names. Pollito, a name given to him by his Grandmother Leonor, that he loved very much. Phi, a name he was always fond of for himself.
Marmot Mammoth, a name he earned and gave himself for bringing back the culture on something he truly believed in. The list of names could go on, because Felix truly was a living legend. Felix was raised in a mixture between Harlem and the Bronx. Felix had an entrepreneurial spirit, and was a man who juggled a lot of things, because that was something he was great at. He attended highschool both in the Bronx and Virgina. He was given life by his two beautiful parents, his mother and bestfriend, Leonor Krupskaya Reyes, and his father Felix Edmundo Thillet. Felix was born July 15, 1994, and had both Puertorican and Dominican descent. Felix had five siblings that he loved very much; his two younger brothers, Nathaniel Louis Diaz, and Edgardo Luis Diaz III. Felix also had three sisters that he loved very much, Natalynn Maree Thillet, Lilian Elizabeth Thillet, and Lusylya Felicity Thillet. His siblings meant the absolute world to Felix as he was their protector and their older brother. Felix also brought in a cat to the family, that he loved with all his heart, by the name of Smokey that unfortunately isn’t with us anymore either. Felix had a big family and lots of people he truly adored and kept constant contact with, so the list of names could go on and on. Felix had met someone wonderful by the name of and created the most intelligent little boy that goes by the name of Gohan Lennon Thillet. Gohan was the name that both Felix and Ari adored from one of their favorite anime series called Dragon Ball Z. Felix had many hobbies and talents such as playing video games, creating music by rapping, watching anime, hanging out with his family and friends, and many more things that he loved so much. There are many people in Felix’s life that were very important, but there are two important people that Felix had a certain bond with that he didn’t hold with many others. One person being his best friend in the entire world Eddie Disla, these two guys were inseparable friends that have a million irreplaceable memories. The Other person being his cousin and a big piece of Felix’s Childhood, Manuel Miranda a.k.a Little-Man. These two were basically joint to the hip, wherever you saw Felix, you also saw Little-Man. Felix was the life of the party wherever he went, and he had the best soul, always ready to help someone that needed him. Felix loved fashion and was always up to date with the latest trends. He had a big love for “Biggies” and “Grey Brim” fitted hats. Felix was so impactful to his community that he even coordinated an event called “Biggie Day” with the help of another friend. There was something about Felix that made you want to be the best version of yourself when you were around him. Felix was never the type of person to turn someone away, who ever called Felix and wanted to come over was always welcomed with open arms and a smile. Felix, a son, a father, a best friend, a family member, a spark of hope, has left a lot of people with beautiful memories that we can cherish forever. Although Felix is no longer with us, he will always watch over us in spirit and continue to give us the strength we need to pursue everything we want in life.
