Sharon Letalon

Sharon Letalon died peacefully in her home on Friday in Manhattan New York at the age of 60. Sharon is survived by mother Theresa Thomas, Daughters Gabrielle and Vivienne Letalon, Sister Sandra Allen, Nephew Jason Allen and Great Nephews Kahili Allen and Keon Allen.

Sharon was born on December 2, 1963 in Trinidad and Tobago to Frank Thomas and Theresa Phillips. Sharon graduated from Marymount Manhattan college with a degree in finance. Sharon’s children remember her as a gentle, selfless, kind and loving mother who always encouraged them to pursue their goals. She was a generous and dedicated individual who was passionate about community service. Sharon was an active and devout Catholic and often volunteered at United Nations.

The family would like to thank Shermaine, Marilou, Dr. Herman, Dr. Xu and all the nurse staff at NYU Langone for their care throughout her treatment.

Funeral arrangements are as followed:

- 2pm to 3pm: Open casket viewing

-3pm to 4pm: Closed casket viewing 

-4pm to 4:15pm: Pastor's reading 

-4:15 pm to 4:45pm: A few words of encouragement from anyone who would like to speak on Sharon's behalf

-4:45pm: ending of ceremony
